You receive data from your five senses; that data is processed and filtered by your Conscious mind; and then your Conscious Mind feeds your Subconscious mind, which then forms the base of your habits.
To control what you experience in the world without, you must first gain control of the world within.
You gain control of the world within by canceling negative and destructive thoughts in your Conscious mind because they in turn become impressed on your Subconscious mind, which brings them into your reality through the Law of Attraction.
Thats why the exercise for Week Two is of vital importance: you must learn to silence the internal dialogue that you have with yourself every minute of every day, much of which leads to unintended — and unwanted — results. By doing this exercise, you are becoming conscious of the constant chatter that is occurring and you are disciplining yourself to stop and silence that chatter.
As you progress, you will notice every time your mind begins its harsh and negative dialogue.
When you notice that awful chatter, you will replace it with affirmations.
